Eulogy
“Cobain.”
“Blessed to the destined above,
our sweet beloved savior is far beyond us now.
He may be departed, but he’s never too far away.”
While my feelings may not remain completely mutual on behalf of the other million supports who had admired and held a connection between themselves and Kurt, I could only intend to shed light upon this darkened time to bring awareness that nobody is alone during these gloomy times. I would like to take a moment to recollect on the admirable characteristics that we all adored him for. He was admired for his charismatic personality, kind heart and eloquent word structures that seemingly seeped into the hearts of millions and won them over. He was best remembered for his grungy attitude and how he placed himself out into the world to been loved or hated.
To this very minute, I recall when the irreversible message that was leaked worldwide that the god, Kurt Cobain was found cut off of life and had been far gone in the direction to meet the maker. His time seamlessly expired too soon without a single expiration date as the maker decided it was his time to go on April 5th. As I reminiscence, I was situated in my college dorm when the inedible news became flashed on the television and I felt starstruck. The light to my day was taken out of my own grasp and my mind immediately went into a downward spiral of chaotic emotions that I could not control. Why couldn't he have remained enrolled in Rehab? Why did he decide to give up on his fortune, craft, family, and friends? Without even knowing him personally, that connection I felt within his intellect and it saddens me to see such a kindled soul leave this earth.
Cobain was nothing less than an icon who found a way to shape the nineties. Through eloquent patterns of speech and an abstract way of thinking he sneaked and over on his place in millions of teenagers and adult’s hearts. He was seen in such a god-like light for so many people, to them it was as if he was the closest thing to a walking god among them.
